Job Title: Network Administrator
Job Location: Georgia


  • Multitask between several network topologies within a typical work day
  • Demonstrating the ability to become the subject matter expert for new technologies on the fly as customer requirements dictate
  • Demonstrate the ability to accept technical and constructive criticism
  • Work with customer requirements and considerations while demonstrating proper customer service skills
  • Researching and discovering solutions to technical problems on their own or with little or no guidance

  • DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
  • Experience and knowledge of MPLS, Frame Relay, BGP, Security, VoIP, multicast, route manipulation/redistribution, VRFs, NX-OS
  • CISCO call managers
  • Minimum of seven years experience in a Network Engineering role in support of Route/Switch
  • Minimum of an Active Secret Clearance and US Passport
  • CCNA or CCNP Certification
  • Must be fluent in Cisco IOS CLI
  • Familiarity with implementing and troubleshooting MPLS
  • Have experience and knowledge with Cisco Voice and VoIP technologies
  • Understanding of Cisco ASA or PIX
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Layer 2 Technologies and must be thoroughly versed in IP and TCP/UDP concepts
  • VPNs/Tunnels and considerations for QoS, fragmentation, acceleration, implementing all types of ACL ‘s, Prefix Lists, and NAT
  • Technical documentation, public speaking, initiative, customer interaction, and must operate under formal Change Management and coordinates well under informal conditions
  • Strong in OSPF or EIGRP theory and application
  • Have a firm understanding of VLAN’s, STP and Port Channels
  • Have firm understanding and knowledge of QoS - classification, marking, queuing, shaping and policing, interleaving, WRED, and the multi-rate multi-color buckets
  • Experience supporting real-time applications over high loss/high delay links

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Implementing and troubleshooting BGP in LAN and WAN environments
  • Previous experience in SATCOM/RF and VMware installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Intimate knowledge of the OSI model and HTTP session through all layers on both endpoints and intermediary device
  • Experienced in windows/AD UNIX/Linux
  • Previous experience in SATCOM/RF and VMware installation, configuration and maintenance
