Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Location: Pennsylvania


  • Proactively providing engineering and technical assistance to the plant in term of equipment, maintenance, production processes and systems, and facility maintenance
  • Actively participating as a member of the Leadership Team in driving overall plant performance
  • Leading plant Quality and ISO teams in maintaining and improving plant quality
  • Maintaining plant maintenance stores and maintenance purchase items
  • Working with plant maintenance personnel and systems
  • Identifying and resolving common cause and special cause issues that impact plant reliability and performance
  • Investigating manufacturing problems in the plant and recommending corrective actions
  • Consulting with production and maintenance personnel, analyzing the supporting data, recommending corrective actions, and following through on recommendations to evaluate their effectiveness
  • Executing capital projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance goals are met or exceeded. This may vary from owning portions of a large project to sole ownership of a project.
  • Assisting in and/or developing vendor bid packages and final vendor selection for purchased parts and services
  • Educating plant personnel on engineering and technical issues to ensure their knowledge and understanding
  • Coordinating training and start up activities of new equipment and processes
  • Participating in Lean efforts, such as kaizen events, where an emphasis is placed on creativity before capital investment

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of three to five years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong change management skills and experience
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PLC Programming Experience
  • Capital project management
  • CAD
  • Previous experience with the application of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologies, Statistical Process Control and Team Facilitation
