Job Title: Senior Information Technology Director - Business Intelligence and Analytics
Job Location: Missouri


  • Direct the company's enterprise business intelligence and data analytics functions
  • Provide quantitative and technical expertise to support the development of enterprise analytic capabilities
  • Communicate the business value of analytics
  • Leverage data to create actionable insights
  • Deliver value for business partners by understanding their analytic needs and advocating technology solutions which deliver data and analytic functionality in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible
  • Direct implementation and maintenance of data architecture and scalable self-service data and reporting functions
  • Collaborative with business and IT teams to identify, prioritize, and develop a best in class cross-functional BI and analytics framework
  • Design and develop impactful solutions (proof-of-concept development, business case development, feasibility analysis, prototyping through delivery)
  • Support the expansion of analytic capabilities and delivery of innovative tools by researching and implementing new and emerging technologies
  • Manage an effective R&D and innovation pipeline leveraging customer insight, disparate data sources, and advanced analytics
  • Develop a best-in-class technology stack for use within the EDAS team and develop enterprise-class hosting services where appropriate
  • Ensure that management stays informed relative to our competitors' use of technology by leveraging industry contacts, vendors, and strategic technology partner relationships
  • Stay alert to market/regulatory changes and other factors that affect this industry
  • Assess current staff capabilities
  • Identify talent gaps
  • Deploy human capital to address technology needs
  • Manages and allocates appropriate people and financial resources to ensure that projects are completed within committed time and budget and align with strategic objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience
  • Twelve+ years of diverse IT experience with steadily increasing responsibilities
  • Strong proven management background including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of staff
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, big data, and end-user analytic solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Business Intelligence, reporting, analytics, and data mining
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MPP and cloud database environments
  • Experience interfacing with numerous technology teams
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of database related audit and compliance goals and processes
  • Experience with data warehouse, database and data management concepts, processes, tools, and technologies including but not limited to BI, Big Data, ETL, and MPP database
  • Experience in managing a large organization and a budget in excess of $5MM
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple enterprise-wide technology infrastructure or service components
  • Excellent executive presence and ability to create a story for an executive audience
  • Responsible for performing analytics to identify opportunities to improve processes, performance, and reliability of systems
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively drive and lead organizational change
