Job Title: Systems Engineer
Job Location: California


  • Responsible for leading system design, development, integration, test and operations and maintenance of both new and existing ground stations
  • Task planning, scheduling, and coordination with local station managers and other engineers and support staff
  • Organize data and records for use in preparation of various reports
  • Lead and support on-site station operations when required
  • Lead constant process improvement tasks for ground stations

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interface with international customers as well as senior consulting sub-contractors
  • Familiarity with software development and hardware integration of a system level design
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering
  • Five+ years hands on ground station experience in one or more of the following:  large antenna systems, RF handling, telemetry and command data processing equipment, monitor and control equipment, and network communications
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Must be flexible and able to handle occasional heavy workload
  • Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, some of which will include multiple-week trips
  • Willing to learn and expand systems knowledge
  • Familiar with proposal activities and development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad range of knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines related to ground station design and operation
